showing video icons not thumbnails.

help!

i'm having a hard time changing my video icon view to thumbnails.



i can't identify which video i will use in editing...i need to see those vids in thumbnails!

even though i check "Display file icon to thumbnails", still, it's not working!

this happened after installing TuneUp Utilities 2010.

Make sure you don't have "Always show icons, never thumbnails" checked (two items above the "display as thumbnail" setting).

My "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked...

still not working... =(

Don't mean to point out the obvious...thought it might help though.

TuneUp, among other things, modifies the registry settings so even if you uninstall it the registry modifications will NOT be restored.

You may be able to restore the registry with a checkpoint restore.

Or you might uninstall and then try a system restore. This is drastic, maybe others know a setting you can fix but I don't.
