Shortcut Arrows

Hello Everyone on the forum,

I was wondering if anyone had come across the edit required in Windows 7 to remove the annoying little arrows from a shortcut icon.
I have used the Xp one for XP, the Vista one forVista ( although the Xp one works ok in Vista ) but feel that there are irregularities within those edits to use them in the ' magnificent 7,'

Only a newcomer by definiton 10years experience.......................
