Help me please. I need to set a static IP for my router. I am the only user of it (and a few other of my things, like iPhone and PS3). The attached picture is of my router's set up page. Thanks in advance!

First question would be if you want your computers setup with a static IP or if you want your ISP to assign a static IP for your Internet connection?

Listen to tell you the truth: I really don't know monkey about IP and stuff. I just heard that having a Static IP helps you in Flight Simulator because of connectivity issues. I think I want my computers setup with a static IP. But, I think that IP is like 192.168.1.100 or something, like the internal IP not external 98.197.87.130.

Try this link - Windows 7 - Set up with a Static IP Address.

Or this one - Windows 7 Static IP

Not for setting up the computer with a Static IP. Now if you want to forward a port to the computer with the static IP, that is done in the router.
