selection panel for cd drive

The selection panel which should appear when loading a disc in to drive E: dvd rw drive etc does not show

The selection box is an "Autoplay" menu. Autoplay may be turned off, in which case you don't get that pop-up. Personally I disable it because I don't like it popping up.

Since your specs say W7 Ultimate, were you able to fix it using group policy editor?

I have adjusted autoplay panel but as yet haven't tried it out yet. Sorry about the delay but the last time I sent this post it was returned not delivered

P.S. I have been told that microsoft issued a patch to disable autoplay because it was vulnerable to malware attacks, so I will leave well alone
