Has anyone tried this in XP mode. Siemens tech support can't see a W7 64 bit version anytime soon, and we'll have to pay (again)!

If it absolutely will not run in 64-bit then it is definitely worth trying in XP mode rather than converting your Windows to 32-bit.

Note: For XP mode it's a good idea to have a decent powered machine (dual core or better) and 3GB+ of memory; less will work but may drag a bit.
