i see folder but it dont exsist ,,,, ???

ok ,, i have a folder in my documents ,, but i can not delete, rename it,
every time i try to do anything with it I'm told that it no longer exists ,,

i have run scandisk, but that didn't work,,

any one know how i can get rid of it ??

Try deleting it is safe mode. If that doesn't do it, try this tool.

use chkdsk instead. open a cmd prompt and type the following and reboot:

chkdsk c: /f

What's the exact path to the folder? Also, is there a chance that
you're looking at a Library view?

What's the exact path to the folder? Also, is there a chance that

C:\Users\ssddrive\Documents\Camtasia Studio\Untitlednorwich falkland

You're posting in a Windows 7 newsgroup, but you say you are using
scandisk. Since scandisk doesn't exist in Windows 7, you're not using
Windows 7. What operating system are you running?

command prompt in that folder, then: dir /x

and delete using 8.3 filename shown in the right-hand column ?

del xxxxxxxx.xxx

You're posting in a Windows 7 newsgroup, but you say you are using
scandisk. Since scandisk doesn't exist in Windows 7, you're not using
Windows 7. What operating system are you running?


it is windows 7 m8
i right clicked on the c: drive and selected properties, then tools, then
"error checking" i just thought it was scandisk,

just tried it m8
no luck its still there ,,

something is telling win7 that it is there when it isnt, its also in the
comand window as "UNTITL~3"
