What Security Would You Suggest?

Ok, So I have McAfee right now as a free-trail til like 2011 with my brand-new laptop, but I don't like McAfee so I'm just wondering.

"I'm looking to Uninstall my McAfee & Install a new one"

What all would you Suggest for a Security program (free) that really works great?

If you want a free application then my choice would be Avira or perhaps even Microsoft Security Essentials. I've given MSE a go on a few PCs now, and it seems to be light on resources. The detection rates in recent tests have also been pretty good.

I have been using AVAST (free version) for over a year now and am very satisfied.

I was an avowed ESET user until I trialed Norton 2010 and now it is my Internet Security Suite of choice.

Try AVG Free (V9) I'am very happy with it also get windows defender and spybot S&D they work well to gether and give you all protection. I've been using them for 1 and half years now and happy with all of them.

I personally ESET Smart Security 4, and it comes with an awesome firewall, pop-up blocker and a really good anti-virus

After terrible experiences a couple of years ago, I would NEVER EVER let Norton anywhere near to my computer again. I am an avid fan of Eset Nod 32. It gets consistently excellent independent reports.
