Schedule clearing the event viewer.

Can I clear the event viewer by some schedule or similar ?

You can download this little batch file that will clear the event log. I run
it manually every so often after checking for errors. You could run it as
often as you like using Task Scheduler, but I like to see if there's
anything in there I should know about before clearing it. That's why I run
it manually instead of on a schedule.

When I read your first post, I looked at the thread to see if the second
post was from you as well :-)

"Duh" maybe, but you get points for being awake - less than two minutes to
recover...

Yeah, I may not be too swift at times, but I usually have a decent recovery
time :-)

Years ago, I used windows-xp, and now I cannot find where is the windows
scheduler ?

Click on the start orb and type "scheduler" in the search box (where it
says "Search programs and files"). Before you even finish typing what I
said, you'll see "Task Scheduler" in the panel above. Click on it.
