Run dos programs in windows 7 64 bit

If I upgrade from windows home premiun 64 bit to windows professional
and install XP mode option will I be able to run dos programs in a window?

If you use DosBox.

Even though it says 32 bit, it runs fine on 64 bit.

If those programs currently run in XP, then yes.
If the programs are NOT 16 bits ones, then possible they run native in
Win 7.
Just try it, adjusting the compatibility options.

Most likely yes.

(32-bit "DOS" programs will most likely run in a command prompt right
in Windows 7, with no need to drop into XP mode.)

Second this. DOS programs run under DosBox almost like they were
running under a DOS operating system. They run very fast.
