RIP UP THE FLOORBOARDS!! Edward Elgar £20 notes

"On the 30th June 2010 the £20 note featuring Edward Elgar on the reverse ceases to be legal tender and will/should not be accepted or given in change".

They reckon that there are 150 Billion of these notes still in circulation.
That's £3,000,000,000,000,000 in real money (British Billion) or at worst £3,000,000,000,000 (American Billion) still kicking about.

And everybody's always on about the poor bloody pensioners!!!

For what it's worth, it's all fiat currency anyway, that is no gold reserves to back it up. The same goes for the US Dollar and all other major currencies.

I bet there are loads of people who have plenty of these notes and don't realise, although thankfully they can be exchanged at most banks (and always at the Bank of England):

That's ok, we'll just print lots of money and then we can all be billionaires ... however bread might start to cost a few million pounds/dollars more than we are used to
