I have a full backup of my older Vista system sitting
on my Win 7 desktop. How can I retrieve some needed
files? Can I install OneCare JUST to do a restore?
Can I do a restore using existing Win 7 utilities?
Must I run a virtual PC, install OneCare, restore from there
and then copy those files over to Win 7???
It's a puzzlement...

Dave

I recently installed one care to an xp machine to access an old archive. Once I unzipped everything and moved it to an unzipped folder, I uninstalled it.. I then copied that folder over to W7. I would think it would install just fine on W7.
MS does not support one care any more.
