I tried to restore my Win 7 Pro 64-bit OS with an image that built-in backup made last week and I get an error message claiming image is corrupt. Am I out of luck? Please help me if you can!

If the file is corrupt I don't know of anything you can do but create a new one.

If you have made backups before, the backup service can sometimes create multiple backup files. Each incremental backup requires each of the the previous backup files to function correctly, could this be your problem?

Otherwise if it is just that one file and it is corrupt, there isn't anything I can suggest to help. If you absolutely need to restore your OS to a previous point right now, you might try using a one of the system restore points instead?
