Windows 7.

From memory:
right click on image, select send to email recipient. It then asks you
if you want to send it reduced size or not.

I've used PMView for years to resize images generally:

does it multiple resizing? I don't want to have to resize each pic
individually.

I use pmview, but it doesn't do multiple resizing of files.

But will it downsize pics for sending with any email client? (Hope I am
using the correct jargon here!) I came across some but they all seem to
be associated with a particular email program. Consequently I re-size
pics myself using IrfanView which incidentally is an excellent free
Photo Software. Compact and very capable. Of course using IrfanView's
resizing facility I can re-size the pic to exact dimensions according to
who I am sending it to.

I use this: http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

It's a clone of the Resizer Power Toy that was available in WinXP, and is
very versatile.

We've been using this Powertoy resizer from Microsoft for a couple of months
on our XP systems and it works beautifully for downsizing single or multiple
images.

Thanks SC Tom for the information. I used to use to use the Powertoy

I see you posted using Thunderbird 3.1.9. There is an image resizer
add-on for Tbird. Click on Tools> Add-ons and do a search. HTH
