How to Reset WMP12?

The problem I'm having is that WMP 12 occasionally duplicates files in random folders and for some reason has done so recently with many of them...too many to change manually.

I followed the instructions here exactly to reset WMP12 but it made no difference at all: http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to...-in-windows-7/

Isn't there just a simple way to clear the library and re add?
