I am a newbie to 7 forums, how do I reset defaults in Windows 7? I use multiple browsers, IE, Firefox Aurora, Google Chrome and Safari 5, always learning- a young 66 years..

Sleepy, I'm not sure which default's you mean but perhaps you could check out Control Panel > Default Programs and see if that contains what you need.

Welcome to the forum, Sleepy.
As you mention browsers, do you mean defaults in browsers?
IE is simple, there are several options. For example
Tools - Internet options -
Security. Reset all zones...etc. Several windows under the tabs have the same opportunity.
Firefox has, I believe, similar options. I cannot remark on the others.
But I would suggest you have a look at your current configurations. You say you are learning - fair comment. But perhaps you can assess which browser is you favourite, and eliminate a couple of those? - Just a suggestion.

Thank you davehc -probably should follow your advice.Used to have an XP computer which still lives (re-furbished by relative) Windows 7 is just about " foolproof" am enjoying the system.
