Have Abit IC-7G MoBo with AGP video slot only, and socket 478 w/P4 3.4 and maxed out mem. It appears no MB driver updates to support Win7 32bit are avail (at most Vista drivers are avail.) MB seems to work well with most current XP drivers. But, my video card is an ATI All-In-Wonder 9600, AGP ver, which works great in XP but keeps locking up Win7.

I built my system and case and power supply support ATX size MB. I really don't want to change my MoBo because that could make me invest in new memory, but I think I can survive if I only change my video card.

BUT I am stuck and can only buy an AGP video card unless I change everything.

Recommendations please.

You're trying to run Windows 7 on a very old hardware system.

I recommend that you do complete system upgrade; CPU, motherboard, RAM, video card, etc.

But if you can't afford that then get an AGP card and use the special AGP drivers that either Radeon or nVidia have available.
