Re-image PC repair online- how would you rate this software. A bit costly though and works well. Do I need it @ AUD $100 plus ??

Windows has it's own repair feature that you can use for free, in fact while your machine is healthy it is a good idea to burn a recovery disk (type System Recovery into the Start ... Search bar). You should have a good anti-virus and if you don't then try Microsoft Security Essentials which is pretty decent for free. And for a back-up, run the freeware version of Malwarebytes manually (passive scanning) once a week or so (do not activate the free trial if you have another A/V though because you should only have one active scanner). I also recommend using Spybot Search & Destroy (but with out the Tea-timer). And finally if you do get a tough virus then you run RKILL first and then run Malwarebytes to get rid of it. All these tools are free; for the applications find links in our Freeware DB.

Frankly IMHO it looks like a waste of money. And I'm always a bit wary of how good a product is if they can't even fix typos on their website, see ...

It's basically the same idea behind hiring managers throwing out resumes with typos. If they can't take the time to write it up properly then can you trust they bothered to code it properly.

They also say they are not an A/V replacement. So you still need a good anti-virus program and if at some point you still do get a virus then use RKILL and Malwarebytes for free, forget about this program.

I agree with TM, was of time and money.

I'm also willing to bet Nibs will agree as well.
