I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. When I first used this, Programs (x86) was visible when I clicked Start. It has now disappeared from the Start menu! How can I fix this?

Open Computer and double-click on drive C:. If it's not there then you should worry about it. As long as the various x86 programs are listed in the Start>All Programs you shouldn't have any problems. I may be wrong, but the Start menu listing (x86) Programs was fixed with SP1's release or soon after. As long as the individual programslisted in the (x86) Programs are each listed either in the All Prorams portion or at the top as soon as you hit the Start button, it's okay. If they aren't then worry about it.I'm running ProfessionalSP1 x64 and (x86)Programs isn't listed in my Start>All Programs anymore.
