problem connecting to bsnl

Hello

Everytime I connect to bsnl on my windows 7 i have to wait a lot, it takes a lot of time. Sometimes the system evens HANGS!!! I have to try a lot of times to get it connected.
Please suggest some solution

I had never heard of BSNL but a search indicates it is a broadband provider based in New Delhi. Your best bet to make sure you have the proper protocols set, etc is to contact them directly and have them walk you through the settings they require.

This problem is only localised to windows 7 the internet works perfectly fine with windows xp.

First make sure you have the latest drivers/firmware installed for your NIC.

Then call your ISP and ask them to walk you through the proper settings for Windows 7.
