Printer Driver for Lexmark 5400 series printer

Windows 7 recognizes the printer but has a yellow triangle exclamation point...it will not print, but I cannot find any printer driver for Windows 7...any ideas?

Are yere any more details on what is the matter with the printer in device manager?

You should be able to download the Windows Vista drivers for that printer from here, which should be compatible with Windows 7:

Lexmark5495 does not install with Windows 7, I downloaded the Vista driver and it is the USB port that is having problems

Device driver software was not successfully installed

X5400 No driver found I unistalled the driver reiinstalled made sure the usb port was unplugged printer was found then when I plug in the usb the port isn't reconized I've tried at lease 4 usb ports and it does not work for the printer. Other devices do work with all the usb ports.

Maybe the driver was not uninstalled properly. Follow the instructions in this artice (http://bit.ly/8ZH59T) on how to uninstall the Lexmark printers. Then, after rebooting pc, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. Then, you can easily download and install the X5495 driver at http://bit.ly/axkRhd (for 32-bit) or at http://bit.ly/dc4qO7 (for 64-bit).
