OK, Experts :-)

I am totally peed off with the present Win 7 Explorer.
I vastly prefer the Win2000 Explorer.

Any possibility of dumping the present crappy Explorer.

TIA

Looks like we're too guess your requirements between freeware and
payware. For freeware, go ask the folks to do your research over in:

I assume you mean Windows Explorer, the one you use to cruise drives and
directories. I don't know what exactly about the Windows 7 version pisses
you off, but I bet installing Classic Shell from SourceForge will help.

1) Install Classic shell

http://classicshell.sourceforge.net

2) Add the Quick Launch Bar to the Taskbar in Windows 7

After doing these 2 things my windows 7 has got al the features I missed from
windows xp classic mode.

Sorry to push in but one thing I don't like about the new explorer in
Windows 7 is that lack of any obvious place to right click when I want to
right click and paste some files into a folder.

Do you mean any 'white' or open area in a folder screen where you can
right-click and paste a file? That seems kind of obvious, if you know
what you are looking at.
