Pictograms(icons)

Often happens that all icons be recharged when I go to the appropriate folder. I have Videoclips 755 (icons) and 1200 Mp3 songs (pictogrammen.) and various documents. How can I occur that this happen. Het takes much time, waiting until all icons are reloaded.

I believe you may be referring to "thumbnails". Thumbnails are miniature pictures from the actual file.

If you do not want thumbnails you can ...

1. You can go into Organize ... file and Folder Options ... VIEW tab and check the box to "Always show icons, never thumbnails"

2. You can modify the folder settings to use details, content, or small icons rather than medium/large/extra large icons.


If you want thumbnails but do not like how long it takes to show them each time you open a folder ...

1. You could create more folders and split your videos so that their are less items in each folder.

2. buy a faster machine so it can generate the thumbnails faster
