photoshop and illustrator thumbnails in explorer

I have a 64 bit system- windows 7. I upgraded hoping you would return to letting us view our thumbnails in explorer ( .psd and .ai files). Adobe claims there has been miscommunication on the matter. what's up? We used to be able to see the files in XP. I hate using adobe bridge.

I already found that app a while ago and it works great for .psd but is there a version for it that works on .ai?
