Hi!

I also have problem with Stuck in "Safe Mode"

I boot into "normal mode" but it's still "safe mode" it's not "Fail Safe Mode" but normal mode with Safe Mode.
It look like normal mode with classic shell. It doesn't "say" Safe Mode in the corners. But when I try to start a service I get: Error 1084: This services can't be started in Safe Mode.
So there are many services that can't be started

Last known good configuration - same result

I can't do System Restore - it fails

I have tried all msconfig sollutions - see below, several times but I still got permanent Safe Mode when i boot "normal mode"

Open msconfig and select the Boot tab. Uncheck Safe Boot, check Make all boot settings permanent and then click OK (all highlighted below). Reboot your computer and it should start up normally. - Doesn't work for me

I have tried all possible way to get back but no one have helped.

Is there possibly any reg fix that I can do?

Hi, and Welcome to the forums!

Probably the easiest way to solve this is to do a startup repair. Use a windows 7 install DVD to do so.

Here is a tutorial on how to do a startup repair:
www.w7forums.com/startup-repair-t441.html

If you don't have an install DVD, download sn iso of it and burn it to a DVD.
The iso:

Hope this helps,

Hum... you'd be better off doing a repair install.

Open Msconfig and the "boot" tab
You may have accidentally selected the wrong startup procedures there.
Safe Boot should be off (Unticked)
In fact everything should be off.
Over on the right, make sure that, "make all boot settings permanent" is also off.
Whilst in Msconfig, select the "general"tab.
You should be showing Selective tab" as you default choice. And, in its subsections," Load system services2 and "Load startup items", should be ticked.

Hey Nisse,

If you have problems with the DVD install try this:

You can download the USB tool for free and copy your Windows 7 ISO to the USB. Complete instructions can be found here:
http://store.microsoft.com/Help/ISO-Tool

I use USB flash drives all the time for OS install it works perfectly - lot faster and no DVDs to get scratched and damaged! :-)

Thanks,
