Performance Options question

Hello

How can I get to Performance Options, please in Windows 7 (to change some visual effects)? I have read on one or two sites that I need to click the System icon in Control Panel. Does that mean they System and Security icon?

Press "Windows Logo + Pause" and then goto "Advanced System Settings"
