PeerGuardian 2 for Windows 7

I've just downloaded Windows 7 (7600) and I wanted to know if PeerGuardian 2 was worth using? It says it will help me be more secure when using P2P apps

Does it slow down Windows and will it make me more secure?

No, it doesn't slow down Windows, but it won't really make you more secure.
