Welcome to the forum, darkblitz05! I've been using Windows 7 since November, have done a few reinstalls, and have never had to allocate my paging file. In fact, until now, I had forgotten that it existed. When I was using XP Pro exclusively, I was getting various viruses within that file, but since moving to Windows 7, I've had no problems. So evidently, you don't have to be concerned about allocating it, as I've never been prompted to do anything with it.

For your PC, I would just manually set it to 500MB-4GB.
