Yahoo, in its wisdom(???) has a completely revised mail system.
I have tried it and IMHO it SUCKS.
BUT (very big but) Yahoo has (again, in its wisdom???) given us no way
to get back. They even tell us they want us to use the new version
cause it is "better". But, as I said before, IT SUCKS.
Anyone know how to get back Yahoo mail Classic?

TIA

LouB

Yes, it's right there on the page, just click on it. You'll have to
spend a little time looking, they don't make it easy!

Note: sorry, I'm not going to switch to the really awful new mail so I
can tell you how to go back, it's there, you'll have to find it by
yourself....

Mine still shows it. Click the down arrow for options, and it is listed at
the bottom as Mail Classic, just as Paul wrote.

Why would anyone use Yahoo, anyway, unless you like them snooping on
you? It should be opt-in NOT opt-out.

It is not in mine either.
The only options are:
Themes
Mail Option
Messenger Options

and none of those options have a classic mail option.

Found this:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mai...mnoswitch.html

We have removed the "Return to Original Mail" link from the help menu as
we're strongly encouraging all users to migrate to the newest version of
Yahoo! Mail. We will continue to invest heavily in the latest version of
Yahoo! Mail, further improving it and delivering more compelling
features to our users.

We know that changing to a new interface can seem daunting, so we’ve
done everything possible to make the transition easy. We have created
help pages specifically for users who have recently switched to the
newest version of Yahoo! Mail, highlighting differences that you may
notice: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/migrating/.

We hope you’ll give this new version a try. It’s our fastest version of
Yahoo! Mail yet, with improved protection against spam and advanced
features like in-line photos and videos.

Looks like you're going to have to learn to live with the new mail. I
may just remove myself from Yahoo if they ever force me to the new
format, like you, I don't like it much.
