Well I WAS planning on getting a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD7 but damm things change fast and now it's NLA and the new comparable board is a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P.

The UD7 had good product reviews but I cannot find much about the UD4P. does anyone know anything about this board?

Mychael - Gigabyte boards are TOP QUALITY! You won't go wrong with this board.

The two top motherboard suppliers in my opinion are ASUS and Gigabyte. ASUS are usually a little more expensive than Gigabyte though.

Gigabyte are highly configurable in the BIOS and are rock-solid stable. Easy to overclock also.

Here are some websites where you can read the reviews:

Agreed with Nibs...

Not exactly the same, but very close to what you're asking about (close enough to read on it):

"High quality parts from Japan." <<<< That's a huge positive factor imho. Just look at those low esr type capacitors lol! So nice.

Thanks Guys, exactly the sort of thing I was looking for. I did a "Bing" search but not a lot came up.
