Can office 97 be installed in 32 bits windows 7 and 64 bits windows 7 without any problems?

I don't have it to try, but I would guess it would work OK - but you may need to use compatibility mode. Outlook may be temperamental as I remember some people having problems using Outlook 97 in Vista.

However, that software is 12 years old now and there are some free alternatives that will work much better

Try giving Open Office a go : http://www.openoffice.org/
