I recommend IMGBurn because I have experience with it, it is free, and I know it works. IMGBurn understands an ISO is an image containing many files and when it is burned to the DVD it will be many files. You can use other DVD Burning software but if the DVD ends up containing a single file then it did not open the image it merely burned the ISO file.
Thanks TM!

Yes it will. Go to this tutorial I did a couple of years ago and you'll see how it's done. Yes, Ultimate will be an option for you, so the other posters' comment does not apply.

How to get FOUR versions of Windows 7 x64 from one DVD

This tutorial works with either the 32-bit or 64-bit version ISO images.

I have used these Universal Install discs with no issues on quite a few clients computers with no issues at all.

It sure beats having 4 to 5 different install DVDs.

This statement is not true. It does become a "universal" install DVD. The 32-bit becomes 5 different editions and the 64-bit becomes 4 different editions.

You can remove the ei.cfg file and install any edition of Windows 7 you want to install. You can not however activate an installation of Windows 7 Home Premium with a Windows 7 Ultimate activation key. To activate Windows 7 Home Premium, you will need a Windows 7 Home Premium activation key.

Ultimate has everything Home Premium has plus a few extras. You can install Home Premium to test it but w/o activation it will expire in 30 days.

And I'm not sure what your fascination is with the hash values but NO, the hash values wouldn't be the same for any of the versions listed and it would change again once you remove the ei.cfg. The whole point of a hash value is so that the data plus the hash value result in a net result of 0 so the integrity of the data can be verified; it wouldn't be much value if the data could change and the same hash values still worked.

I download the Windows 7 Home Premium x64 English iso and burnt it to a disc. Then I click on the setup file and keeps giving me the errors :

E:\Sources\SPWIZENG.DLL is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system admin or the software vendor for support.

Then a second message box comes with error :

The file 'autorun.dll' couldn't be loaded or corrupt. The setup cannot continue. Error code is[0xC1]

Did I download the wrong iso ? What did I do wrong please help...My system specs:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system
Manufacturer: HP
Running service pack 1

Please help....

It is possible there was an error in the download but even more likely is an error in the DVD burn. You might try burning it again on a slower burn speed, like 3X and also turn on verify.

Alright, I think I will give it a try. But did I at least download the correct version ?

If you have a Home Premium license and want the 64-bit version (x64) and want the language to be English then, yes that's what you would download.
