[SOLVED] NO SOUND?

I have windows 7 on my pc done all updates and that,when i play a sound everything seems to be working ok on the pc side of thing but i aint getting no sound? do you think i might need a new sound card or can this be fixed some how?

Perhaps the Installation detected the wrong soundcard. Post your moptherboard or soundcard info and I think it can be sorted.
