hey im running windows 7, and just installed the sound driver for the computer, gigabyte h55, when i test for sound using the 'realtek' sound tester, the test works, however all other sound does not, such as music from itunes, youtube, vlc media player.. etc etc.

SO, some help would be awesome, as my computer sorta fails without sound :\

Hello matthewdaniel92, Welcome to the Windows 7 Forums website!

Go to Control Panel, then Sound. Right-Click in the windows and click the box "Show Disabled Devices" See if one is disabled and then enable it and that may may work for you.

Keep us posted.
