Now that's one sweet looking watch there BF! I used to go through $150 watches about once every two years. My skin / body chemistry (electricity?) ate them up big time.
Now I have had a SEIKO solid titanium watch for the past 15 years with solid titanium watch band and it's held up like a champ! Batteries last exactly 3-1/2 years. At the time it cost $425 but it was worth it in the long run for me.
The nice thing about a titanium watch is that it weighs about 2/3 less than a conventional watch of the same size and shape.
