Hi all,

I just brought a GE A835 8.0 MP Digital Camera from Tiger Direct and wanted to to drop a note:

Windows 7 RC recognized it immediately and loaded the driver.... works great!! I also have an older Panasonic Digital Cam that works well also.... I had to manually install that driver but 7 had no prob with it. It recognizes it as a floppy drive lol!!! told ya it was a old cam!!!

Seems 7 is compatible with alot of hardware/software......

W7 recognises all my cameras and storage devices, most of them come up as "Mass Storage Drives" or it gets the driver automatically. Great isn't it!

Vista - Whats vista? I skipped vista too - Im patiently waiting the release of Widows 7
Ive not had any hardware problems with Windows 7 other than my onbaord video not being complient which was easily solved with a PCIe card
