I need to run an old dbase5.exe application (16 bit) with windows 7.
i have downloadex an xp pro 32bit emulator. (dbase 5 runs fine on a machine with xp pro.)

when i execute dbase inside the emulator it gives me a error that the program is too large to fit in memory.

I really need to get this fixed.

You might need to increase the alloted memory that Windows 7 will give the emulator. There are setting inside the emulator, that will allow you to change system specifications for the each OS installed with in the emulator.

The settings would be inside the emulator.

Which emulator are you using?
Is it XP Mode? If so this tutorial may help. - Changing Windows 7's XP Mode memory size
