Hi all,

I have Asus P5Q SE PLUS, and i have currently 4 gb's ram DDR2 (2gb's in one slot, and 1 gb x2 in other 2 slot's).

But, i have another 1 gb DDR2, and i was wondering, if it is okay to me using 5 gb's DDR2?

I really want some advices (those really good) to make my computer have the best performance with the things i have.

My operating system is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit's!

Thanks for your time teaching me new things xDD

Like, 1º slot = 2 gb's, and the rest of the slots 1 gb... can i do this ? or ou don't recommend?

How many RAM slots does your motherboard have? It's Ok if there's a free slot available. Mind though these two things:

1. 5 sticks won't run Dual Channel
2. The sticks better be matching with EXACTLY the same specs - better if identical of the same brand.
