I think it was filmed 2 days after tropical storm Irene blew through. The music of Train was chosen because their drummer is from here.

Reading through the comments on youtube, I can't believe some of the negativity from those who think everything should be professionally done. To me everything done professionally takes away from the realism of the video.

Yeah these lip dubs are getting popular. I remember seeing one done in Grand Rapids MI not to long ago.
