My PC is my TV is my PC. My TV is my internet access and my PC
monitor.
Yes, my TV is connected to the internet and the PC is connected to the
internet and the PC is connected to the TV. Got that?

So, when I am relaxing in front of the PC err TV err PC, I don't want
to have to fiddle with any cords.

Now, since I am hearing about wireless keyboards with build in track
balls, I might just have a look at those.

What's the best wireless kbd/integrated trackball set available now?

I should start with looking at what Logitech has to offer.

Easy for you to say.
Do you have any experience with any of the Logitech as I specified, kbd
with integral mousewheel (lighted would be an asset)?
If so, please elaborate.
I have so many crappy keyboards, including Logitech, that I am not
willing to buy and try any more. They just did not work as advertised!

I just keep buying keyboards and mouses until I get it right. I can
think of no other way, since different people have different
preferences. Radically different...

Indeed. I bought a fancy German keyboard "dasKeyboard" for $120 and
it goes clickity-click like old ones, but it has hair-trigger keys
that just a graze sets off. Now I need one with adjustable key
pressures. It never ends.

Easy for you to explore too, if they don't have what you want then no big
deal.

No, I am not too paranoid about keyboards and mice.

How true, I love my wireless Logitech/mouse combo, cost all of $14.00 from
Target, works like a charm.

You have done a lot better than Peter Jason and I have done :-)

I've lost track of the prices of my current setup, a Logitech mouse and
a Microsoft KB, both wireless, maybe around $50 total, but currently I
am at least happy enough. Two dongles & two USB ports, though, since
they are not compatible electronically. (You know what, I just thought
of trying a hub to see if I can get away with using only one port.
later, after I power down.)

I still want to get a keyboard that doesn't make typing mistakes,
however. No luck so far...

You got the same keyboard/mouse combination I did. If I'm in my recliner, I
just use my armrest as a mouse pad and it works fine for my purposes. My
son has been using it for his World of Warcraft gaming without any more
complaints than a teenager would normally have.

Thanks for the meaningful reply.
I'll see if my local store has it and give it a thumbs up or down or
spin all around.
