I just pulled out and dusted off my new laptop that I bought back in July, that I never use...lol. It's a samsung RV511 here's is link to specifications.

RV511-A01 Notebook | Samsung Office RV511-A01 Notebook

I just noticed that I have multiple network connections. Several wired and wireless. I know that the laptop is supposed to have a wired/wireless connection but 5 of them. I have switched out modem/router but should that make a difference.

I think it's remembering every connection it ever had. Did you buy it used?
You can delete the ones that you know are false.

I bought it brand new....

If I look in the device manager, I see there are drivers for the intel wireless connections. So I'm completely dumbfounded.
