Using Win 7 mouse driver 1Px86_1033_8.20.468.0.exe stops installing at 50 %. How can I get it to install?

Hi Brickman,

Is there a reason that you're installing a mouse driver? Most mice should be fine using the ones that Windows 7 will automatically install. It's normally only worth installing mouse specific software if you want to use some of the advanced features that gaming/high end mice come with. Personally, I don't bother installing any additional mouse software as it's extra bloat for little worth (IMO).

I've had a google for this driver name and can't find anything - could you let us know what model mouse this is and where you got the software from?

The only cure was to erase the entire disk and start over - ugh.

Bit Odd. That is MS's own (intelliepoint) driver. It should't be a problem. Maybe a silly question, but you are 64BIT?
