Hi friends,I have recently installed windows 7 RC on my pc but after installation my D drive has been missing. It has all my final year college projects and other important information which i totally hate to loose.

This is my disk management screenshot where it has not assigned any letter to my missing 20 gb drive and it is taken as system type.

Plz guys plz help me in getting my disk back.

Can you right click and give it a letter?

Yes. Right click it - "Change drive letters and paths." Looks like as it sits, you will have to call it F. But, if you would like it to follow in sequence, that can also be done.
Change D first (Temporary) to Z. Change the missing one to D.
Now change the CD rom to something like Y.
Change the renamed Z back to E and then the CD rom (Y?)back to F.
