I have some ebooks that I used to be able to read with Microsoft
Reader on my old XP machine. Under Win7 they are in Documents\My
Documents\My Library and have names like TheFeralistPapers[1].lit .
When I click on most of them, Microfsoft Reader starts and then closes
down immediately. The only ones that come up are Microsoft Reader
Help and Total Word Domination by Jack Lyon. What could be wrong?
Thanks.

Have you tried to run the reader using Compatibility Mode (XP)?

Thanks. Those programs require a keys.txt file which apparently
contained the licenses for these books. Apparently it was lost when I
transferred to my new computer.
