Microphone drivers

I have a m1330 laptop and since switched to 7 i haven't been able to use the built in microphone, nor do i get audio from my hdmi jack. i also have received error messages about my Sigmatel C-major audio driver

Go to the Control Panel, select Sounds and then click the Recording tab at the top.

Once open, right-click in the field below and select: Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices. It should show all the recording capable devices then.

With my Realtek sound chipset the only way I can get it to record properly is to enable the "Stereo Mix" device. It looks like a PCI plug-in card icon.
