I'll do my best with this-
When I am in Thunderbird and friend sends me a (safe) link, that new window (say a Media Player) opens behind the Thunderbird e-mail. When hover over that new window, no problem, but if I hover over the e-mail the new window goes back to hidding. I end up closing TB inorder to view the new window.

I noticed this tonite, when I opened a folder from my Desktop, opened a application- but it was hidden behind the folder. so its not just in Thunderbird that this happens.

I think this has been going on since having Windows 7, guess now its starting to bug me.

Is there a setting, say in View Folders? That is if I can find it. Seems harder to find versus XP.

Go to Control Panel - Folder Options, you should be able to adjust the settings there.

I don't think there is an option there to prevent that. But you should look in the Ease of access centre. That is where the (very few) adjustments are to be found for mouse hover. I hate the feature, for the reason you have found, and do not have it turned on.

Dave - I think I found what you were referring to & I think that did the trick. Thanks.
