The OCZ Vertex III is the better drive and less expensive. Plus their relationship with the Sandforce chipset maker is a long and stable one.
Go to the Benchmark Reviews dot Com for reviews on both products, you'll see that the OCZ gets better review and test results.

Plus OCZ has been in the past rather quick to release new firmware as needed. In the first 3 months of ownership of my Vertex II drive, they updated the firmware 6 or 7 times.
