Is there anything in win 7 that would allow me to make a video clip for
utube. I am sure there was a video maker in xp but cant find similar for 7.
I would just be using stills and text.

Not in Windows 7 natively, but Windows Live Movie Maker, part of Windows
Live Essentials should do the job.

Hi, ss.

Don't delete WinXP's Movie Maker (moviemk.exe) just yet! It will do some
things that Windows LIVE Movie Maker will not. And it will run in Win7
without having to be explicitly installed; just browse to WinXP's Program
Files\Movie Maker folder and click the .exe file. ;<)

Even as a strictly amateur video experimenter, I've been able to create a
few videos from my camera and from Media Center recordings using both WLMM
and WMM.

RC, I didnt delete it I just didnt have it as my old PC (win xp) failed
and I got a new PC with win7, only after a few months did I realise I
couldnt make a video clip for utube,I dont use it (video clips) very
often so will just work around any issues.
