When awaiking from hibernation win7 looses internet connection and I have to restart the computer to reconnect,
Is there any other way around to resolve the problem? Do I have any bad configuration on my win7 for this to happen,
I never have this sort of problem on win xp.

Hi and Welcome!
Ok, so lets start simple. Have you tried updating network card drivers? That can sometimes solve the problem.

Cheers,

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I looked in my Compaq C763TU site for new HiFi driver but no driver available.
I just wonder if there is any third party program to keep the inernet connection alive while the computer goes on hibernation, or any special configuration for the purpose.
Thanks anyway!!!
Miggy
BTW, where is the thanks button?

It's on the right-hand side, green button with a yellow star, next to "Quote"
