Outlook doesn't HAVE a separate address book. All your Outlook data is
in your pst file...

I have restored the pst file, but still no address book. But I found
the address data is in the User/Peter/Contacts folder. How do I get
this back into the pst file?

Thanks, I had forgotten about that and I'll try and report back. Also
the Rules don't seem to be working and those mailings are just turning
up in the normal inbox. I did a system restore to no avail.

All this seemed to be caused by some event yesterday night. In the
"Events Viewer" in computer management there was:

2/ Windows Log "Applications" gave

Could the problem be caused by power outages?

Maybe the Microsoft Office forum or non-Microsoft newsgroups dedicated
to the same might have more knowledgeable people available.

Sure it does, two as a matter of fact.

The Global Address Book (only accessible when On-Line)
and the Personal Address Book, do a search for *.pab, it will be on your
profile folder.
