i recently reloaded LinksLS 2001 game on my computer and it is coming up with a message saying that RUKSHUK.ICD has stopped working. this is a game i have had since i bought it new some time ago. i decided to try and install it on my current system which is windows vista. would you possibly have any ideas on what i can do, or if it can even be played on this new operating sytem. i realy like the simulation and would like to use it. not sure if there is a newer version available?

From what I found this program seems to require administrator privileges. Try right-clicking on the icon or exe and in properties ... compatibility tab ... check Run this program as an administrator.

If that doesn't work let us know and maybe we can find something else.

this problem has not been resolved. tried running as admin and compatibility mode and none worked. its not really that crucial that i get this program running. just had it laying around and thought i would try. thanks darrell

The only other thing I found was to try a different video codec.

Make sure you are using the latest video drivers for your computers GPU.
